With the scheduling aspect of our booking pages you would be able to:
- Display your availabilities in real time.
- Block off times you are not available.
- Set your operating hours.
- Set up interval (travel /set up) times between bookings.
- Set the number of cleaners per service.
- Set up the time needed for each task or criteria of a cleaning. This will automatically determine the duration of each booking (ex. if each bedroom takes 1 hour, and each bathroom take 0.5 hours, a house that has two bedrooms and one bath would be reflected in the system as a 2.5 hour service). Our booking pages are so flexible you can customize the pricing and extra section to replicate your traditional estimating process in seconds. You’ll never have to train an estimator again.
- Only show customers the time slots that can accommodate a service of that duration and travel time.
- Additionally, because our booking pages are entirely customizable, you can add specific questions about how cleaning teams would be able to access the premises.
This paired with our automatic confirmations and reminders feature will significantly decrease the instances of no-shows or issues of being unable to complete the service because the customer is not around.
When a web booking is received and you have connected your Stripe account, PodiumIO will create a pre-authorized charge in Stripe for you. The customer’s credit card information is securely transferred to Stripe, without any PodiumIO involvement.
Along with the charge, a new Stripe customer record will be created, allowing you to create any subsequent charges if required.
Stripe payment processing is the most secure form of handling credit card information and complies with PCI DSS security standard (see Stripe Security for more information).
A pre-authorized charge is a transaction occurring with the Credit Card institution, validating and reserving a booking amount, on the client’s Credit Card. No funds have been transferred, only reserved.
A captured charge is a transaction occurring with the Credit Card institution, in which funds are transferred from the institution to your Stripe account.
PodiumIO will ONLY pre-authorize credit cards.
It is important to note that the customer MAY see all pre-authorizations on their online account or statement.
Credit card transactions cannot be completed through PodiumIO. You must complete this action through your Stripe Dashboard.
Credit card transactions can be completed through your PodiumIO admin, or through your Stripe dashboard.
PodiumIO advocates strong customer protection and takes security very seriously.
If Credit Card information is captured, with our non-Stripe Payment acceptance component, all customer credit card information is stored in our databases, in encrypted form. Only you, as an operator, can access this information through your PodiumIO admin.

SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer. It might sound complex, but it’s really not. SSL Certificates validate your website’s identity, and encrypt the information visitors send to, or receive from, your site. This keeps thieves from spying on any exchange between you and your shoppers.
When you have an SSL Certificate protecting your website, your customers can rest assured that the information they enter on any secured page is private and can’t be viewed by cyber crooks.
No, but it is highly recommended because it ensures trust from your customers when making a payment on your website.
SSL Certificates inspire trust and show visitors that you value their privacy. An SSL Cert protects your customers’ sensitive information such as their name, address, password, or credit card number by encrypting the data during transmission from their computer to your web server. SSL is the standard for web security, and a Server Certificate is required by most merchant account services – you’ll need one if you plan to accept credit cards on your website.
When a visitor enters an SSL-protected page on your website, their browser bar displays a padlock icon and the https:// prefix in the URL address. While most Internet users know to look for those SSL indicators, you can also add a site seal to your website to show visitors your site is verified and secured. Visitors can click the seal to view your certificate’s status and details, seeing for themselves that it’s safe to send sensitive information to your website.
